The Moving (and Eating) Around Taiwan study abroad program is a great way to explore an efficient, world-class transportation model. This program will travel during spring break 2019 and is open to architecture and engineering students who have completed their sophomore year. Taipei is very densely populated and high-speed transportation has become a necessity, whether it be “a bus, subway or high speed rail." Students will travel to various other municipalities around Taiwan to explore additional transportation throughout the country. The program includes guest lectures, site visits, and meaninful engagement with students from the local Taipei University. In addition, this program will expose students to an exciting variety of Taiwanese, Chinese, Japanese and other Asian ethnic foods, many of which will be provided.
