The visitors were at Ohio State University to gain an understanding of the U.S. K-16 educational system and were specifically interested in STEM and technical education.  While at the EEIC, they were given an overview of the undergraduate curriculum as well as a hands-on demonstration of the projects First Year Engineering students will be working on this coming academic year.

Following their time with the EEIC staff, they visited the Center for Automotive Research (CAR) to learn more about the reserach conducted in the College of Engineering and the opportunity students get to put their engineering education into practice with many of the student design teams run out of CAR.

This opportunity to share its expertise in engineering education with secondary school teachers from China is part of the College's ongoing international initiatives and fostered a unique dialogue across linguistic and cultural boundaries.
