If so, then one of the College of Engineering's newest study abroad programs might be for you!

The program will take you across England to Wales and then to northern England and finally London. In the process, you will visit classic castles and fortified cities in Wales and England, a Roman fortress, and some of the outstanding religious structures England has to offer.

The construction techniques used when these structures were created are still relevant today and you will have an opportunity to study and see first-hand the construction techniques employed.  You will also learn why these structures were built where they were and why some were abandoned.

The trip will conclude with a visit  to see the first chronometers that solved the problem of longitude and free time in London, one of the great cities of the world.

In addition to also being able to stand on both the eastern and western hemispheres at Greenwich, students earn three (3) semester credit hours of ENGR 5797.13 which counts towards the GO ENGR program and possibly your degree, depending upon your degree program.
