Innovation Seminar Brings Transatlantic Dialogue to Engineering
Representatives from Siemens Rail Systems, FOGTEC Fire Protection, IAV Automotive Engineering, and InnoZ Berlin visited the College of Engineering on Wednesday, 29 October as part of an Innovation S
Participants were treated to a diverse conversation about how innovative approaches to engineering design challenges and problem-solving are leading to new technologies and efficiencies everything from navigational tools, to fire-suppression and safety systems, to light materials and integrated transportation networks. The dynamic Q&A that followed showcased the very real ways in which students and faculty are bridging the classroom experience with real-world products and services.
Students also learned about the Transatlantic Program for Young Technology Leaders (TAP-YTL) that sends students and young professionals to Germany on short-term programs and
