eminar co-hosted with the German American Chamber of Commerce.  The theme of the seminar was Energy Efficiency in Transportation Systems.

Participants were treated to a diverse conversation about how innovative approaches to engineering design challenges and problem-solving are leading to new technologies and efficiencies everything from navigational tools, to fire-suppression and safety systems, to light materials and integrated transportation networks.  The dynamic Q&A that followed showcased the very real ways in which students and faculty are bridging the classroom experience with real-world products and services.

Students also learned about the Transatlantic Program for Young Technology Leaders (TAP-YTL) that sends students and young professionals to Germany on short-term programs and

were later afforded the opportunity to network with the seminar panelists and other company representatives who provided information on international career and internship opportunities with their companies.
