Engineering Service-Learning in Guyana: Information Session
Winter break engineering abroad opportunities!
Come learn about this new program which will run over winter break, 2019. Students will enroll in a 3 credit hour course over autumn term and travel over winter break as a group.
By participating in this program, students will:
- Learn about socio-economic, politcal and environmental challenges faced by people in developing county context
- Attain stronger understanding and appreciation of Guyanese culture and thought
- Help research, develop and document solutions to solar education challenges with faculty and students from the University of Guyana
- Apply humanitarian concepts to real-world issues
